Issac's Hat post #2

My friend's, Maria and Ron, sent a photo of their son Issac wearing the hat I made for him last year. He is so adorable....right? He loves that guitar. I saw a video of him rocking out with that guitar. He could be a very talented performer one day.

Sleep Deprevation Hurts!

I haven't slept in a week. I am only posting because I am rendering and I need something to keep me busy and the internet is just about the only thing my computer can handle right now. I think my sleep deprevation caused that last sentence to be a run-on. I can't promise to post craft stuff within the week because Tuesday-Thursday I will be sleeping and I intend to enjoy the next weekend by being outside... weather permitting. There are still lots of beginnings of new projects. Fall is coming soon, I better get knitty.

Running the Komen Race

If you want to donate, they gave me a website. Yes I have another website to maintain now! But its for a good cause. If you know my friend Kayla, her Mom, Kathy, beat breast cancer this year! I will be running for her! And for all who have suffered. It's not until September, so plenty of time to save. And plenty of time to get in shape for a 5k. Here's the site. You have to click on "support a participant" on the left side of the page and then enter my name...Elizabeth Guzejka

illegally blogging to give you a hard time

I am banned from the internet at work, but I logged in to post a reminder. If you read this blog, please become my friend by clicking the "follow" button on the right hand side of the page underneath the blogs I follow. It will NOT send you updates to your email address, I promise.

There is a new to-do list titled "In the bucket" on the right side of my page. If you want me to make you something, leave me a comment on my blog and I will add you.

A gift

I got this bookmark as a gift from Kathy. It's so pretty and actually matches the book I am reading right now. Yay! I love presents.

Because no one should have to go through life without Salt and Pepper Shakers

Before leaving Los Angeles, we decided we should do a massive purge. This was difficult. I'm on my 6th residence since graduating college and have lugged everything I owned with me, including my poor dog. I guess I am a pack rat, probably picked that up from Dad (hi Dad!), but leaving LA really taught me a lesson. I can definitely live life with less, but one thing I realize you really do need is salt and pepper shakers. I have been whining about them since my arrival in Chicago. I don't know why we purged the salt and pepper shakers, I mean its not like they couldn't fit in my already stuffed car. But I could not find them along with a few other items (mainly kitchenware) when I got to Chicago. I think Justin was in charge of packing the kitchen and when I said purge, he purged. Somehow we managed to save the corkscrew? So because of all my whining, I got 2 pair in one week, as a gift from my Dad and a gift from Kayla. Thanks guys.

Now if I can only get back my beautiful desk! : (
