It has been over a year since my last post. A lot has changed in my life during that year. I moved home, both of my parents became ill (but are now better), I was unemployed and waiting tables for 9 months, and I got ENGAGED!!!
I admittedly spent the first 6 months of my engagement freaking out about how to plan my wedding. Since I was unemployed, I kept looking for budget wedding ideas and basically decided to DIY everything. Bad idea. It has been overwhelming to say the least and not cheap either.
But I have blogworthy material now. I found great uses for my yarn stashes. I will start you off with my minions (poms) that I'm using for place cards. The orange paper flags will top it off. I used to love poms but after making about 80 of these, I would be happy to never be presented with a pom again. Finished product to be posted tomorrow.
